Description

Aviation Influence, Inc. is proud to award a scholarship to support a young woman pursuing careers in aviation aerospace and related STEM fields. Whether training to become a pilot, earning an A&P certification, or working toward an aviation-related degree, this scholarship is designed to help the recipient take their ambition to the next level. Applicants residing in the Greater Delaware Valley region (PA, NJ, DE, MD, or NY) are strongly encouraged to apply, though residency in this region is not required for selection. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an approved high school, academy, college, technical or flight training program, and be in good standing. They must be pursuing a STEAM or aviation-related field of study or certification. Flight training applicants must be actively enrolled or making documented progress in a flight school or program. Applicants must also demonstrate that they are working a job (full-time or part-time) to help fund their education or training, supplementing scholarships, grants, or other awards. All applicants must be current WAI members with an expiration date of March 30, 2026 or later. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation. Letters should not be from family members.
