TEA Don Sahli-Kathy Woodall Al Mance Memorial Scholarship

Description

The Al Mance Memorial Scholarship is available to an ethnic minority student who is preparing to become a teacher. Primary consideration for recipient selection shall be based upon academic excellence, economic need, and a demonstrated interest in becoming a teacher. Application must be made by a current Local Association. Applicants must also attach a recommendation from one teacher or counselor who has taught the applicant within the last three years, and one additional recommendation from someone who may or may not be an educator.
