The Assured Scholarships are awarded to students based on their academic credentials. Students must submit an admission application, high school transcript, and official SAT or ACT scores to be eligible for these awards. These scholarships are guaranteed to all qualified residents and nonresidents (including international students) provided they are admitted to Texas State as a first-time incoming freshmen and transfers with less than 15 transfer hours and meet the minimum scholarship qualifications prior to their first semester (fall or spring). The Texas State Distinguished Scholarship is under the Assured Scholarships. This award is available to Top 25 - 35 percent of graduating class or IB diploma or AP Capstone Diploma. Applicants must have an SAT score of 1060 - 1160 and above or a minimum ACT score of 21 - 24 and above. The admission application deadline for the Fall semester is December 1 (priority)/ July 15 (final), and the deadline for the Spring semester is November 15.
