Description

The Texas State University Freshman Merit Scholarship is available to students who apply without an ACT or SAT score and are ranked in the top 35 percent of their class (GED or equivalency diploma not eligible). Students will receive an academic review of their application, which will include consideration of their high school curriculum, the level of courses taken, their high school rank/percentile, and the grades earned. The admission application deadline for the Fall semester is December 1 (priority)/ July 15 (final), and the deadline for the Spring semester is November 15.
