The Alva Sawyer and Lee G. Williams Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman or current student based on the following in order of priority: the recipient must be working on campus or in university-related employment for a minimum average of ten (10) hours per week, must show academic merit with at least a 2.5 GPA, and have demonstrated financial need.
