The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship

Description

The American Legion, Department of Minnesota, is divided into 10 Districts. Each District will conduct an Oratorical Contest for high school students in grades 9-12, including those homeschooled in your school districts. The four finalists in the American Legion Department of Minnesota Contest receive scholarships which may be used to attend any post-secondary educational institution in the United States. Students must be enrolled in high school during the time of participation at any level of The American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest. Speech must be student's original work on the general subject of the Constitution. Speech contests begin in December at local Legion post level and continue on to the national competition.
