Mr. Lawrence Steven Brantley and Dr. Audwin Fletcher co-established the Brantley-Fletcher Award of Hope Book Scholarship through the Mississippi Nurses Foundation in honor and in memory of Lawrence Steven Brantley's, mother, Mrs. Earlene "Bobbie" Brantley and Dr. Audwin Fletcher's grandmother, Ms. Allie Mae Fletcher, his biggest supporter in his aspirations of becoming a nurse. Applicants must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in a Mississippi college or university. They must be a member of a Student Nurses Association.
