Description

The Education Opportunity Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to traditional and non-traditional students who reside in Allegheny County. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, current undergraduate, or graduate student attending or who attended a high school in Allegheny County (PA). Preference will be given to applicants who have been disproportionately affected by systemic barriers to educational achievement. Preference will also be given to applicants who are first-generation college students. This award is renewable three times or until a degree is earned, whichever occurs first.
