The Salix Gastrointestinal Health Scholars Award is for outstanding students living with gastrointestinal (GI) diseases and disorders who are pursuing their higher education goals. Four awards will be granted to students pursuing undergraduate degrees. Four awards will be granted to students pursuing graduate degrees. One award will be granted to working parents who are pursuing undergraduate, vocational/technical, or graduate degrees. One award will be granted to students who are single parents pursuing undergraduate, vocational/technical, or graduate degrees. Two letters of recommendation and information about your school and community activities are required. Your treating licensed healthcare provider must sign the 2023 Medical Statement Form to confirm your gastrointestinal condition. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
