Students are automatically considered for merit-based awards when applying for admission, and priority consideration is given to those who apply by February 1. The Chancellor Scholarship is available to students with a GPA of 3.0-4.0 and an SAT score of 1260-1570 or an ACT score of 27-36. High school seniors are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships when they apply for admission by February 1 of their senior year. Chancellor's Scholarship recipients are eligible for a travel-study stipend of $2,500 to apply toward a university-approved travel experience while enrolled at UT Martin. Recipients are eligible to enroll in Honors courses. Out-of-state students will also receive a waiver to cover out-of-state fees (additional estimated value $6,040 per year/$24,160 for four years).
