The Theatre and Dance Scholarship is given to first-year students (transfers not eligible) based on acting, directing, playwriting, design and technology, stage management, or dance. Applicants should apply in the area in which they wish to focus their time and skills while at Wooster. Scholarship recipients are not required to major or minor in Theatre and Dance at Wooster. Theatre & Dance Scholarship applicants must apply Early Decision or Early Action. Students must submit a resume and requested materials with their application. They must also attend the audition weekend held on campus in Freedlander Theatre on January 31, 2026. Early Decision I applicants are strongly encouraged to submit materials by November 1 to receive a full scholarship and financial aid package with their admissions decision.
