The Tim Towarak Memorial Scholarship is a merit-based competitive scholarship which is awarded annually to one high-performing student enrolled in an accredited college or university. Candidates for this scholarship are professional career-track BSNC shareholders or descendant students with a passion for advocating for (or serving) Alaska Native people. Preference for the scholarship award will be given to students who are Alaska residents. For Fall, the application opens on March 1, with a deadline of June 30 for courses that typically begin in August and end in December. For Spring, the application opens on October 15, with a deadline of December 1 for courses that typically begin in January and end in May.
