Description

TMC/SAE Donald D. Dawson Technical Scholarship is intended to encourage the ideal of Dawson's respected technical competence in transport management. To be eligible, applicant must be a U.S. Resident, and pursues an engineering or related science degree through a U.S. ABET-accredited program. Applicant must provide two (2) Letters of Recommendation - one (1) that focuses on academics and one (1) that speaks to involvement in extra-curricular activities or employment. Applicant is required to demonstrate evidence of some type of hands-on automotive experience or activity in areas such as rebuilding engines, working on cars or trucks, tractor repair or working with drones (UAV Challenge, for example), robotics (FIRST, VEX) and coding.
