Young people deserve to experience the world beyond their college campuses, but not everyone can afford to travel, especially if they are on a student budget. The Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship is awarded biannually to passionate students who want to explore the world. To apply for the Tortuga Study Abroad Scholarship, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or international student currently enrolled at a U.S. college or university, and be traveling to a country outside the U.S. for their study abroad program. Applicants must be an undergraduate student in good academic standing at a four-year, degree-granting college or university in the United States. They must have applied to or been accepted into a study abroad program eligible for credit by their college or university. The Spring 2027 application deadline is October 15, 2026 and the Fall 2027 application deadline is April 15, 2027.
