University of Alaska Fairbanks Alaska Performance Scholarship

Description

The Alaska Performance Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship available to Alaska high school students. To qualify for the APS, students must complete a specific, rigorous high school curriculum; earn a qualifying GPA; and meet the qualifying score on college/career entrance exams. For Level 1 of the award, students with a specified high school curriculum and a high school GPA of 3.5 or ACT 25 or SAT 1210 may receive $7,000. For Level 2 of the award, students with a specified high school curriculum and a high school GPA of 3.0 or ACT 23 or SAT 1130 may receive $5,250. For Level 3 of the award, students with a specified high school curriculum and a high school GPA of 2.5 or ACT 21 or SAT 1060 may receive $3,500. Students remain eligible for 8 semesters of use or 6 years from high school graduation, whichever comes first. Admissions applications must be submitted before the admissions deadlines of June 15 for fall and November 1 for Spring. Please visit the scholarship's website for more information.
