The University Scholars Program is available to entering college freshmen students. Recipients will receive a stipend in addition to any academic scholarship awarded following admission to the University. Students will also receive a private room upgrade each semester they reside in Honors housing. University Scholars benefit from a curriculum that emphasizes leadership, social responsibility, and disciplinary expertise. University Scholars are empowered to be leaders within the community and beyond by honing their skills in academic research and writing, developing a personal leadership identity, and practicing ethical decision-making.
