The UTRGV Gateway Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to entering freshmen students. This scholarship is a one-time award valued up to $3,000. The scholarship awardees must accept the scholarship within 30 days of the offer; otherwise, the award will be canceled if the requirement is not met. Students must be admitted to UTRGV by December 1st to be considered for merit-based scholarships.
