The UTRGV Housing Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship available to entering freshmen students. This scholarship is renewable for up to 2 years of undergraduate studies or until graduation, whichever comes first. The scholarship is valued at up to $10,000. Scholarship awardees must accept the scholarship within 30 days of the offer, be enrolled for the fall semester by June 1st, and have submitted a UTRGV Housing application by the appropriate deadline set by the Department of Housing and Residence Life; otherwise, the award will be canceled if requirements are not met. Students must be admitted to UTRGV by December 1st to be considered for merit-based scholarships.
