The UTRGV Presidential Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded, on a competitive basis and does not require submitting a scholarship application, to entering freshman students. The scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years of undergraduate studies or until graduation, whichever comes first. Students must enroll each fall and spring semester in a minimum of 15 hours leading to the completion of a baccalaureate degree. The priority admission deadline for Fall semester is May 1 and the priority admission deadline for Spring semester is November 1.
