Description

The UTRGV Top 10 Percent Scholarship is a merit-scholarship for entering freshman students. This scholarship will be awarded to students graduating in the top 10 percent of their high school class. Schools must be within the Cameron, Hidalgo, Willacy, Starr, or Zapata counties. Students must not already have a UTRGV Institutional scholarship of at least $1,000. Upon receiving the award, students are required to enroll in a minimum of 12 hours per semester at UTRGV. The priority admission deadline for Fall semester is May 1 and the priority admission deadline for Spring semester is November 1.
