The V. George & Jeannette M. Carey Scholarship provides a one-time award of $1,500 to graduating seniors in Delaware, with preference given to those residing in the 36th Legislative District, including Ellendale, Lewes, Lincoln, Milford, Milton, and Slaughter Beach. Applicants must be pursuing a degree or professional designation in agriculture-preferred or education. Selection is based on academic performance, with a preference for students outside the top 10% of their class, and consideration is given to those involved in 4-H, FFA, or other community service activities.
