The Virginia N. Gordon Award for Excellence in the Field of Advising is annually presented to a NACADA member who has made significant contributions to the field of academic advising. Each nominee must have been a member of NACADA for at least one year prior to receipt of the award. Previous winners are not eligible. Current members of the Board of Directors and Council are not eligible for consideration for this award. After the member's term of office is over, they may then be eligible for consideration.
