Wallace G. Iverson Promise Scholarship

Description

The Wallace G. Iverson Promise Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from public and private high schools in the Medford, Central Point, Eagle Point, and Phoenix/Talent School Districts. Applicants must demonstrate strong motivation to succeed despite personal challenges, such as family or health-related circumstances, and must have a minimum GPA of 2.00. The scholarship supports enrollment at Rogue Community College or Southern Oregon University and is awarded based on financial need, requiring completion of the FAFSA. Semifinalists will be interviewed by a selection committee and may be asked to submit a letter of recommendation. The award is automatically renewable for one additional year if renewal criteria are met. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
