Dependent children candidates must be unmarried natural born, adopted or stepchildren (up to the age of 23 of the application year) of the officer or personnel. They may either be graduates or graduating seniors of an accredited high school or home school equivalent; or current college or trade school students. High school students must have a 3.0 GPA; college freshmen must have a 2.5 GPA; college sophomore, junior or senior students must have a 3.0 GPA; military spouses must have a 2.5 GPA.
