WIT Celebrating Women in Toxicology Award (Graduate)

Description

The Celebrating Women in Toxicology (CWIT) award was inspired by the generosity of Ms. Anne Wolven Garrett, one of the early leaders in the field of toxicology. The CWIT award is selected based on scientific merit and outstanding demonstration of leadership and service to the scientific/toxicology community and given to female WIT member(s) engaged in academic study towards a Master's or PhD in toxicology (or related field). Graduate students must be a student member of WIT SIG and SOT at the application deadline. Two letters of recommendation describing the applicant's leadership and service to the scientific/toxicology community are required. In addition to some mention of scientific achievement, the letters should also focus on recognition of the student's demonstration of leadership and service in toxicology and/or their community.
