Description

The Yamboree Empowerment Scholarship YES for Women will be awarded to either graduating seniors from a public high school located in Upshur County in East Texas or a resident of Upshur County attending a public high school located outside Upshur County. Applicants may attend any 2- or 4-year accredited college or university in the United States and major in any field of study. Applicants must submit two letters of reference. One must be from a teacher that can speak to the applicant's character or behavior in the classroom.
