Purdue University's Krannert School of Management emphasizes quantitative analysis alongside the qualitative, establishing a strong foundation of business knowledge. Krannert's cohort-based approach and emphasis on the team dynamic simulates a true corporate working environment. Case studies also develop critical thinking and problem solving skills that translate to the business world. Concentration areas add depth to the broad base of management knowledge covered in the core curriculum and enhance skills in a specific business function. For these reasons and many others, the Krannert MBA has been ranked the #7 MBA at a U.S. public institution (Financial Times).

Two Unique MBA Programs

The Krannert School of Management offers two unique MBA programs, its Full-Time MBA as well as its hybrid Weekend MBA. The school also offers a full suite of graduate Master's programs in Accounting, Business Analytics and Information Management, Economics, Finance, Global Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

Faculty and Alumni

Krannert's distinguished faculty and alumni serve as student professional mentors. They foster and facilitate career goals, providing students with highly personalized guidance to steer their future careers. Pedagogically, Krannert empowers graduates - emphasizing leadership, professional development, and collaboration to accelerate careers. Two Krannert faculty members were named to Poets and Quants 2017 Best 40 Under 40 Professors.

International Enrollment

Purdue has the second largest international student enrollment among U.S. public institutions, and that diversity translates to the Krannert classroom. In its small classroom atmosphere, Krannert students encounter a true cross-continental immersion with classmates from across the globe. Further, Krannert offers a number of study abroad opportunities.

Extension Centers

The Krannert School of Management also connects to campus and community through its extension centers:

Krannert's Business Information and Analytics Center (BIAC) merges two highly regarded areas in the Krannert School - Management Information Systems and Quantitative Methods - to leverage the breadth and depth of its research and corporate collaborations.

The Dr. Cornell A. Bell Business Opportunity Program (BOP) was the first program to increase diversity and give all students access to a world-class management education at a major business school.

Purdue's Jane Brock-Wilson Women in Management Center supports the leadership development of women from pre-college throughout their careers, while influencing thought and behavior in global business settings.

The Purdue University Research Center in Economics (PURCE) conducts research into the effects of government policies in areas such as health care, crime, antitrust, international trade and taxation, to name a few.

For almost three decades, the Dauch Center for the Management of Manufacturing Enterprises (DCMME) and the Global Supply Chain Management Initiative (GSCMI) have been the focal point within Purdue University's Krannert School of Management for promoting education, research and industrial engagement with those interested in operations management, manufacturing management and supply chain management.

Student Opportunities

Students have access to full suite of career assistance services provided by the Krannert Professional Development Center (KPDC). Students may also have the opportunity to work with entrepreneurs and technology specialists at Purdue's Discovery Park or Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship. Purdue is the #8 producer of startup talent among U.S. public universities ( and has the 6th most startups based on university IP among U.S. universities (AUTM U.S. Licensing Survey).

West Lafayette is annually rated among the top college towns in the U.S. (#12, Business Insider). Purdue's campus is located between Indianapolis and Chicago and offers access to big city life at a modest cost of living. When combined with tuition rates that have remained static for six straight years, Purdue offers exceptional return on investment (ROI) for its students. Krannert's Full-Time MBA program has been ranked #3 by Bloomberg Businessweek for highest Return on Investment (2014).
