Research

Focus of faculty research:

Physiological and neural control of ingestive behavior; effects of gonadal hormones on food intake and weight; activity-based anorexia; obesity; sex differences in behavior; conditioned taste aversion learning. Close relationships (romantic attraction and maintenance), social hierarchy (power, leadership, dominance), social affiliation/rejection, and self-protective processes (disgust, anxiety, fear).
