The Alabama Funeral Director Association Scholarship will be awarded to those who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in an American Board of Funeral Service Program. Applicants must have a current apprenticeship with an establishment that is a member of the Alabama Funeral Directors Association. Applicants must submit two proofs of residency. It may be a voter registration, driver's license, tax return, etc. Applicants must also submit one letter of recommendation from their managing funeral director and/or embalmer. It is recommended that the completed application be postmarked no later than July 15th for Fall Semester and December 15th for Spring Semester.
