The Alfie Scholars Program offers a scholarship and special programming for underrepresented community college transfer students with the desire to become civility leaders who effect positive social change. The Alfie Scholars are selected from a pool of diverse students. Diversity includes a broad range of people, including those from diverse ethnic, racial, and non-traditional backgrounds, as well as those who have socioeconomic disadvantages, have physical or learning disabilities, and have overcome significant other obstacles. Applicants must be rising juniors at Seattle University and have a minimum of 4 quarters completed at the time of application (students with a previous bachelor's degree are not eligible for consideration). They must also have leadership skills that will enable them to serve the community and foster civility in their chosen profession. Please visit the scholarship website for more information.
