Description

The Andrew and Merrill Silver Scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to incoming freshmen who are graduates of the Bronx High School of Science or James Madison High School. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to social action and/or social service by volunteering a minimum of 100 hours while at Bronx Science or James Madison. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need as determined by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Student FAFSA data must contain a combined family Federal Adjusted Gross Income of less than or equal to $100,000. Student's high school record must demonstrate high academic achievement. Applications may be submitted via mail or fax.
