ARIT/National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowships for the Humanities in Turkey

Description

The fields of study covered by this program include all periods of history in the humanities, including prehistory, history, art, archaeology, literature, and linguistics, as well as interdisciplinary aspects of cultural history. The fellowships support research tenures of four to twelve continuous months during 2020-2021. Stipends of $4,200 per month are awarded on the basis of individual proposals. Scholars who have completed their formal training by the application deadline and plan to carry out research in Turkey for four months or longer may apply. They may be citizens or three-year residents of the U.S. Please consult the ARIT U.S. office concerning eligibility.
