The Athabasca University President's Award for Rural Alberta Nursing Students is intended to recognize and reward AU's Bachelor of Nursing students who have demonstrated their commitment to improving health care by applying their AU credential to employment in a rural Alberta healthcare setting. Applicants must be post-LPN Bachelor of Nursing, or post-RN Bachelor of Nursing program students in their final year of studies. They must also live in rural Alberta.
