The Bend Branch of AAUW Charles and Helen Weil Memorial Scholarship is available to students who have either graduated from or completed at least 93 credits at Central Oregon Community College by the end of the current award year. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.50, or 3.00 for prior recipients, and must enroll at least half time at a four-year public or nonprofit institution. Preference is given to female students. Financial need is considered, and FAFSA or ORSAA filing is required. Non-Oregon residents who do not list an Oregon institution on the FAFSA may optionally upload pages 1 and 2 of their FAFSA Submission Summary. The scholarship may be received for one additional year through a competitive reapplication process. February 15 is the early bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all applications and materials to be submitted to OSAC.
