The Beverly and Leon Harris Occupational/Technical Annual Scholarship provides assistance to a student pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree, certificate or career studies certificate. Priority is given to students demonstrating financial need. Applicants must provide the names and email addresses of three persons willing to provide recommendations for them. At least one recommendation must be a Virginia Western instructor, if the applicant is enrolled at the college. If recently attending or graduated from high school, applicants may use a high school teacher(s) to provide recommendations.
