Buerkle Scholarship

Description

The Buerkle Scholarship will be awarded to graduates, including GED recipients and home-schooled graduates, of Clackamas or Marion county high schools. Preference will be given to older, nontraditional students or students who are returning to college after a long absence. Preference will be given to applicants with a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Applicants must be a major in English, journalism, math, music, or physical education. Students may attend colleges that are public and nonprofit only, with preference for Oregon colleges. Students may apply-compete annually for a total of four academic years eligibility; prior recipients may reapply regardless of high school counties listed. February 15 is the Early Bird deadline and March 1 is the final deadline for all materials to be submitted to OSAC.
