The Cancer Care / Betsy Tontini Nursing Scholarship was established in 2000 to honor the memory of Betsy, a Wenatchee nurse who touched numerous lives with her warm and special caring. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from Chelan or Douglas county high schools or a Wenatchee Valley College student, who plans to enroll in the nursing program at WVC. The committee seeks to award students who demonstrate leadership ability through participation in community and extracurricular activities.
