Description

Carol Cooper gave herself selflessly through her volunteerism. She was a founding member of the Seattle Guardian Ad Litem program, as a court appointed representative for children in court cases. It was this love of instilling strong values in children that led her family to develop the Carol Cooper Nursing Scholarship that aims to support students pursuing an RN or BSN degree at Wenatchee Valley College. Applicants must be a graduate of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County high school; or a student who has permanent residence in Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County for a minimum of two years. Preference will be given to non-traditional students currently working in healthcare.
