The Carthage College Modern Languages Scholarships - Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish are open to incoming students, two per language. The scholarships are renewable for up to four years. As a component of language study, students will take courses specifically intended to prepare them to study in China, France, Germany, Spain, or Japan. Carthage language majors spend at least one semester, usually in their junior year, studying and living abroad.
