The Catherine C. Owen Scholarship, funded through her bequest, honors the legacy of a dedicated Mead educator who believed deeply in supporting the next generation. This one-time $1,500 award is available to graduating seniors from a St. Vrain Valley School District high school who demonstrate financial need and plan to attend the University of Northern Colorado or an accredited Christian college or university in the United States beginning this fall. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, required books and supplies, room and board, and other direct educational expenses, with disbursements split between semesters. Applicants must submit a high school transcript with fall grades, resume, financial information, essay, and recommendation letters.
