The Churchill Fellowship

Description

The Churchill Fellowship brings together a diverse mix of people and ideas, providing a unique and enriching experience for Fellows and inspiring change in all parts of UK society. Applicants must be a UK resident citizen holding a UK passport. Irish citizens are eligible if they were born in Northern Ireland and fulfill the remaining criteria. We are looking for people with the potential to inspire change. We encourage applications from people who are disabled, who are neurodiverse, who have mental health problems, or who are from under-served communities. We prioritize people who would be less likely to receive funding from other sources and who have lived experience of the issues that they want to explore. We fund you to spend between 4-8 weeks learning from leading practitioners, innovators and experts overseas on a subject of your choice and then to use that learning to develop solutions for the UK. Research can be carried out in person or online. We then help you to share and implement your learning with your sector or community here. Projects must address a UK issue, require international learning, and have the potential to benefit UK society at a local, regional, national or sector level. Please visit the fellowship's website for more information.
