Established in 1983 by family and friends of Deborah Harris, who was a graduate student in the School of Social Work, to provide for an annual award for a graduate student from Temple UniversityÔÇÖs School of Social Work, who wishes to pursue a career in criminal justice. The fund may also be used to offer an annual grant for research on violent crime, particularly itÔÇÖs impacts upon women.
