Distinguished Scholar in Humanities and Social Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University

Description

The award holder will be expected to teach one regular course for undergraduate/graduate students as well as a more specialized seminar for Ph.D. students in one of the humanities and social sciences academic units at the Faculty of English, Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU). Final grant amounts will be determined prior to the start of the academic year and are subject to the availability of funds. The United States Department of State and the Fulbright Commission in the host country reserve the right to alter, without notice, participating countries, number of awards and allowances. This award is intended for eminent scholars with an excellent record of publications in their respective fields, significant teaching experience, and experience mentoring. The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in the humanities or social sciences and have preferably 10 or more years of teaching experience. A letter of invitation is preferred.
