Description

The Dr. D. Walter Cohen Teaching Award was created to assist beginning periodontal educators in launching their career. Candidates must be in their third year of a non-military accredited periodontal post-doctoral training program in the United States as of the application deadline, and intend to pursue a career in full-time periodontal teaching and research in the United States. A strong interest in periodontal education is the primary qualification. In addition, the selected candidates must demonstrate excellent character, integrity, a record of academic and personal achievements, and an aptitude for teaching and research.
