Description

Edna J. and Mae Cynthia Lee Education Fund is a need-based scholarship to support a student of high moral character as substantiated by three letters of recommendation including oneÔÇÖs pastor, former teacher and a community leader. Further, the student must be committed to the furtherance of high standards in the teaching profession while enrolled in a teacher preparation program. The student recipient should be of junior or senior standing with an overall GPA of 3.0 or above, and provide other indicators that point to the student becoming an effective licensed teacher in the public schools.
