Description

This scholarship is to provide financial support for First Nation (American Indian, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian) identified students currently enrolled at UW-Milwaukee. Along with leadership potential, evidenced by demonstrated volunteerism in indigenous communities, and/or engagement with the UW-Milwaukee campus community. This scholarship aims to support students who self-identify as descendants or citizens of Indigenous communities. We acknowledge and support all students whether or not they have recent connections to their relatives and ancestors.

Eligibility Requirements

  • CheckmarkMust be an undergraduate student or a graduate student
  • CheckmarkMust attend a university
  • CheckmarkRestricted by race for American Indian/Alaska Native students
  • CheckmarkMust not be attending high school currently
  • CheckmarkRestricted to students studying in Wisconsin
