Emory University George W. Jenkins Scholarship

Description

The Emory University George W. Jenkins Scholarship is open to first-year Emory students based on academic merit, financial need, and a sincere interest in service and enhancing community engagement. Recipients are selected based on their completed Emory's admission application. Students must be residents of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. The award also includes a stipend each semester, provides a computer at the start of the program of study and, if needed, covers the cost of student health insurance at Emory. Students must submit two teacher letters of recommendation from core-area academic teachers and a secondary school report or counselor's recommendation.
