Description

The Gold Scholar Award is awarded to admitted freshmen based on an overall assessment of the application for freshman admission. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents or be eligible for the Minnesota Dream Act. Preference is given to National Merit Finalists Recipients who list the University of Minnesota Twin Cities as their first-choice college by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation deadline.
