Description

Students will receive two state-of-the-art hearing aids which best fit their hearing loss, along with a scholarship to the student's college or vocational school of choice. A signed photo release and a signed HIPAA form must be submitted. If a student is a minor, then those forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Two letters of reference must also be submitted. Judges will base their decisions on four overall criteria: 1. The writing quality of the essay, which includes grammar and punctuation. 2. The content: whether the essay discusses all questions that pertain to the student's situation. 3. The student will benefit from the use of hearing aids. 4.
