The Henry Belin du Pont Research Grants enable scholars to pursue advanced research and study in the library, archival, pictorial, and artifact collections of the Hagley Museum and Library. These grants are intended to support serious scholarly work that makes use of Hagley's research collections and expands on prior scholarship. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to consult with Hagley staff prior to submitting their application. A project description indicating the scope of your research and the existing scholarship with which you engage; a summary of the Hagley research materials that you plan to consult during your residency and how they are pertinent to your project; and the number of weeks you are requesting to do your research at Hagley must also be submitted. After the March 31 deadline, the other deadlines are June 30 and October 31.
